INTELLIGENT REACTIVE JAMMING

MERTER Man-Pack Portable Electronic Attack System is a modern EW system used forjamming the target communication systems from long distances by using new generationelectronic attack techniques in VHF frequency bands. MERTER can meet different operational needs. The system can be used both for the protection of patrols against RCIED threats and to generate extended coverage protection area via the portable mast and directional antenna usage. Also, cooperated electronic warfare operation is possible by using multiple systems. The system contains the new generation channelized wideband RF receiver; in this way, MERTER can detect RF emissions simultaneously in the entire operating frequency band. Also, reactive jamming and barrage jamming techniques can be used at the same time for different targets. MERTER can be controlled via PCs and smart tablets. System health situation, spectrum data, adjustment of the jamming bands and techniques and map usage can be performed by smart tablet. The system can power up from their own rechargeable batteries and AC line input.

The system is designed in accordance with tactical field conditions. MERTER has been developed to include the necessary infrastructure to meet the comprehensive requirements for next-generation cognitive electronic warfare. The system can detect multiple targets with different features via a wideband RF receiver. After target detection, an electronic attack is applied to targets in dynamic scenarios with software-based electronic attack techniques in a reactive way.
